While South Florida may be without a Superbowl for several years, or at least until upgrades are made down at Sunlife Stadium, a college bowl game will be played in Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach Post reports FAU Stadium in Boca Raton is expected to host a bowl, starting in December 2014.
The athletic director at Florida Atlantic University says that while the deal is not finished, negotiations are moving forward.
The bowl game will include a team from Conference U.S.A. and one from the old Big East, which is now known as the American Athletic Conference, the Mountain West or the Mid-American Conference.
