A U.S. Border Patrol agent is suing the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and five deputies over a standoff in which they fired at him back in 2009.

Luis Rodriguez is also upset about being bitten by a Sheriff's K9 officer.

He accuses the Sheriff's Office of falsely arresting him and using excessive force when they responded to a report that he was threatening to kill himself during a domestic dispute.

Rodriguez claims he had to take two years off of work after the dog bite severed an artery.

Criminal charges were eventually dropped.
