Frances Bean Cobain is speaking out against some controversial comments made by singer Lana Del Rey in a recent interview with "The Guardian."
When asked about her musical idols, Del Rey made mention of Frances' late father Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain. She was quoted as saying, "I wish I was dead already."
Frances has taken to Twitter to condemn Lana's words, saying that "the death of young musicians isn't something to romanticize." She writes that she'll "never know [her] father because he died young," adding that "it becomes a desirable feat because people like you think it's 'cool.'"

The 21-year-old later continued by saying "Embrace life, because u only get one life. The ppl u mentioned wasted that life.Don't be 1 of those ppl."
Later on, she followed up saying that she had no animosity towards Lana, and was "just trying to put things in perspective."
I'm not attacking anyone. I have no animosity towards Lana, I was just trying to put things in perspective from personal experience.— Frances Bean Cobain (@alka_seltzer666) June 23, 2014
